The following paper was produced by Emma Miller and is the result of the VMCA / Walk Bravely Forward Society teaming up with Emma Miller from the University of British Columbia First Nations Study program, thank you Emma. In laying a foundation of understanding of FASD issues and how these issues affect our Métis communities, as well as Métis offenders currently incarcerated. We would also like to thank Tanya Bob and Dr. Linc Kesler for their assistance to understanding this condition that affects many Métis offenders and their families.
