mission statement
To successfully assist Métis Offenders as they work through the process of rejoining free society. To work with offenders during the family reunification process to ensure a stronger family bond is created. To reduce the rate of recidivism, thereby reducing the financial burden on Canadian taxpayers.

Of the offenders we work with the average offenders prison term runs from 6 - 10 years not including parole. During this time they will be encouraged to participate in various programs, but are not required.

What is Walk Bravely Forward?

Walk Bravely Forward is a society that is dedicated to assisting offenders in the Federal Corrections System reintegrate back to the community. We work with Aboriginal Offenders, (First Nations, Inuit, Metis, C-31, Status and Non-Stausthose individuals who are of Métis, or Aboriginal descent, but we also will work with all offenders who are ready and willing to make the necessary changes in their lives. Currently we work through out the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, and have been doing this work for the last seven years.

Our namesake is a message to the offenders who are demonstrating a readiness to take on their new responsibilities as free members of society to

It is also a message to the community that these individuals have made mistakes in the past for which they have paid for and they are now ready to
